Trust....what is its significance.....

TRUST!!!!.....
what is it actually???is it something ordinary??is it worth looking upon?is it worth working hard on?
I believe trust is the most important factor which determines anything in this world..Every living form has this with something or someone at least..Plants trust the soil covering their roots and giving them food and water and helps in holding them upright...animals and humans trust their partners or loved ones to be with them every time they need..like that there are lots of different kinds of trust forms in this world..known and unknown..but what i am concerned about is the trust we build among our friends, loved ones and society...
Trust is not formed in one moment or one day...sometimes it takes days, sometimes weeks and sometimes even a lifetime...but if you really think, trust is the only factor needed for any relationship to blossom in this world..they say, never trust a stranger...i dont know about that...but i am a person who trusts people very fast...its actually my biggest weakness..but i dont let the trust be broken very easily...i try hard to keep the trust level as high as possible always...but i am also the kind of person for whom once trust with a person is broken, its next to impossible to rebuild it..i dont know if this is common with everyone..
Never let anyone's trust in you be broken..you will never gain anything by it...only lose a lot...
If you have gained the trust of at least one person, then i believe you have achieved a lot in this world..if you have broken the trust of one person, then you have lost a lifetime worth of priceless things...
The feeling you get when someone looks you in the eye and says, "I trust you with my life", cannot be matched with anything else..It shows the belief that person has in your love for their life..to gain that you might have to work really hard and be very patient at times..but to break something like that you wont even need a second...so whenever you are about to break someone's trust, please keep in mind the strain and pain and hard work needed to build a trust like that...
It is very difficult to recover from the pain caused by someone dear and near breaking you trust....I have experienced and still not recovered from several such incidents in my life...
Hope no one has to go through such a phase in their life....
